New Zealand Property Investors? Federation, (NZPIF) is the umbrella body for 20 local Property Investors' Associations throughout New Zealand. Each Association is an independent autonomous body in its own right. Their purpose is to enable property investors to network together, become more professional and therefore more successful in their property investments.
NZPIF maintains a political lobbyist, as residential rental properties are governed by the Residential Tenancies Act, 1986 and cannot be contracted out of. In negotiations with Government, as a New Zealand body, we have more influence than a single local Association would have.

The American Association of Small Property Owners (AASPO) is the only national g(USA) rassroots organization for the ten million small owners of residential and commercial investment properties. AASPO aims to restore common sense and fairness to laws, regulations, taxes and litigation that are needlessly penalizing small property owners.

BOMA International was founded in 1907 as the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. The association assumed its present name in 1968 as it broadened its reach to include Canada and other affiliates around the globe. Today, BOMA International represents 92 local associations throughout the United States and 12 affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Philippines, Russia and South Africa. BOMA's 16,500-plus members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of commercial properties in North America.

The Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations - Federation canadienne des associations de proprietaires immobiliers (CFAA-FCAPI), based in Ottawa, CA, represents the owners and managers of more than one million residential rental suites in Canada, through 17 organizations across Canada. In existence since 1995, CFAA-FCAPI is the sole national organization representing the interests of Canada's $37 billion rental housing industry, which houses almost four million Canadian households.
CFAA-FCAPI provides a voice for the residential rental industry, advocating the interests of the industry to the Federal Government of Canada. We believe that a healthy rental market contributes greatly to our national well-being and economic prosperity. We believe that the policies we advocate will benefit landlords, tenants and taxpayers.
CFAA-FCAPI also functions as an information exchange among our member associations, providing information about best practices and successful programs across the country.

Founded and based in Vancouver on 1964 to meet that challenges of real estate property market and reality, is promoting the interests and conserving the rights of apartment owners of British Columbia, Canada. Services now reach out to rental property owners and managers throughout BC.

The World Urban Forum was established by the United Nations to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities, cities, economies and policies. It is projected that in the next fifty years, two-thirds of humanity will be living in towns and cities. A major challenge is to minimize burgeoning poverty in cities, improve the urban poor's access to basic facilities. UIPI is a registered member of the Forum and will participate.

ELO, based in Brussels, is the organization succesfully defending the interests of the agricultural land owners of Europe.

The Property Owners Association of Australia (POAA) and its six member state and territory based Property Owners Associations are non profit organizations with the aim of supporting and protecting the interests of residential as well as commercial rental property owners throughout Australia.
